Chills and colder during pregnancy?

i've been so cold lately, and sometimes i shiver (usually at night). i have no fever. im 21 weeks pregnant and is it normal to feel colder than normal? i read it could be a symptom of hypothyroidism, which im now worried about because IF i do have it im being left untreated. i have an appointment with the ob this friday and will ask for a test. i live in virginia and it is pretty cold here so maybe its just that…but i dont know.
has anyone ever been diagnosed with hypothyroidism during pregnancy?
